And finally -- Beatrice!

We arrived in Nanchang yesterday morning after getting up at 3:45 AM to gather luggage and the rest of our travel group.

They had setup a special conference room for introducing the babies, and all the waiting families were so excited!

The staff from Yifeng SWI showed up twenty minutes early and surprised everyone! We got to see our first glimpse of Bea in person as she was in the front of the line. The CHI coordinators quickly rolled with the schedule change and started introducing children to their new families. We were first! Getting to hold Beatrice for the first time is something that both of will always remember and cherish.

Bea is teething, so she makes teething/suckling noises frequently. She fits perfectly in 9 month size clothes, and appears perfectly healthy. She is a very happy baby! She smiles a lot, giggles and likes to play-imitate certain noises with us. Added bonus: we couldn't tell from the pictures we had of her beforehand, but she's got supercute dimples! She's taken bottles without much fuss and has enjoyed a couple of bowls of rice cereal despite her attempts to handle the bowl herself. She has quite a firm grip.

We'll post more soon.
